Job Opening: Administrative Assistant to the Vice President of Residential Services

Strong organizational and computer skills (MS Office, MS PowerPoint) required. This position will have overall responsibility for the coordination of residential program planning, creating work schedules, submit and reconcile expense reports, filing, writing and distributing emails, memos, letters, and faxes. Oversee and administer all training and professional development with KaleidaCare software. Assist in maintaining documentation for the Council of Accreditation (COA) and NC Health and Human Service licenses. Maintain the Vice President of Residential Services' daily work schedule. Must have excellent oral and writing skills. This position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Job Opening: Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations

Boys and Girls Homes of NC is seeking a creative, energetic fundraising professional to fill the Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations position. This position will further the mission of B&GH by seeking resources primarily through local and national grant-writing efforts. Corporate funding sources will be identified, cultivated and solicited through research proposal development and relationship management. The successful candidate will serve as an active member of the B&GH Development team and will assist with all fundraising efforts.

We are seeking an experienced professional with strong interpersonal, communication and writing skills that have the ability to apply creative reasoning and thinking to practical work situations. The proven ability to lead a national grant-writing effort and the ability to develop lasting and successful relationships with individuals, corporations and foundations are also important. There will be limited evening and weekend travel involved.

Candidates should have a BS/BA degree in a related field (Master's degree preferred) and at least three years successful experience in fundraising and grant-writing with emphasis on corporate and foundation relationship management.

Job Opening: Director of Training

This position will have overall responsibility for the coordination and implementation of training for all staff in the organization; Oversee and administer all training and professional development functions to include, creating and/or developing child care curriculum, facilitating and/or conducting training sessions/workshops; supervising required comprehensive trainings to meet agency standards, Council of Accreditation and North Carolina Health and Human Services regulations. Will be a member of the clinical crisis team.

We are looking for a Director who is able to effectively lead multidisciplinary teams, who has strong organizational skills and who is proficient in computer skills. He/she will be able to plan annual training schedules and objectives. The ideal candidate preferred must have a Bachelors Degree in Social Work or a related field. Additionally, he/she will have three to five years of therapeutic experience working with children and adolescents, preferably in residential settings. This position requires excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
