Job Opening: Therapeutic Foster Care Financial Administrative Assistant

Qualifications: Minimum - high school diploma; preferably a two (2) year secretarial/business degree. At least three (3) years successful work experience in a secretarial position. This employee must be an experienced typist, be computer literate, experienced with word processing, and have a good knowledge and background of filing and general office procedures. Medicaid authorizations knowledge required. At-risk youth experience a plus. Valid North Carolina driver's license and proof of insurance.

Job Opening: Solomon Assessment Center Site Coordinator

Qualifications: BA or BS in human services field required. Masters in Human Services field preferred. A minimum of two years supervisory experience is required. Must live on campus for support to the program. Administrative skills: computer skills, research, program implementation, proficient in verbal and written communication skills.

Must have a complete physical by a doctor prior to reporting to work. Physical health must meet all standards as established by the Department of Human Resources or other local agencies governing childcare. Medical examination shall include tests necessary to determine that the individual does not have any communicable disease or condition that poses significant risk of transmission in the facility. Valid North Carolina drivers license and insurable by B&GH carrier.

Job Opening: Teen Mom Co-Parent in the Janet Mitchell Winstead Lake House

Boys and Girls Homes of North Carolina, Inc., is accepting applications for a Teen Mom Co-Parent for our Lake House program. The schedule is 7 days on, 7 days off.

This position requires a high school diploma. This is an exciting team LIVE-IN position for individuals with a desire to work with teenagers. You are educating and providing role models for young women and their babies.

This position requires an employee to be responsible for three teen moms and their babies. Responsibilities will include coordinating doctor visits, transporting to school/jobs/daycare, guidance with shopping, meal preparation, light housekeeping, teaching life skills, as well as other similar duties. There will be flexible time off between the hours of 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. providing no appointments or travel are needed. A rent-free apartment is included with this position.

Exempt salaried position. Schedule and salary to be discussed during the interview process. We offer an excellent benefit package. This position is located on the Lake Waccamaw campus.
