B&GH is a progressive residential and community-based organization that specializes in treating the “whole person,” integrating physical, emotional and social well-being. The focus is on strengthening youth in personal skill building, relationships and guiding them through a successful model of education. We support residents who come from multiple placement failures and often are several grades behind in school.
Our Residential Counselors:
*Use the nationally recognized Sanctuary Philosophy and Teaching Family Model Program along with the B&GH G.R.A.C.E. Model of Care. These are evidence-based programs to help residents develop life skills and lead them to successful academic, social, physical and spiritual development.
*Provide a supportive environment that all residents need to thrive and feel secure.
*Provide a home/school like setting to support and encourage individual growth, a sense of community and independent living skills.
*Teach residents life skills, socialization skills, recreational and leisure skills and functional communicational skills.
Come join us as a Residential Counselor. You will provide direct care services to individuals living in supervised residential settings, promoting growth, independence, emotional healing and self-determination skills. You will be part of a team that meets weekly to support your efforts and provide training.
