Job Opening: C.R.E.A.T.E. Hope Clinician/Advocate

The B&GH C.R.E.A.T.E. Hope Program (Collaboration, Resiliency, Education, Advocacy, Therapy/Treatment, Empowerment) provides wraparound support, treatment, and advocacy for child crime victims and their non-offending caregivers in under-served rural counties. The Boys and Girls Homes of NC is currently seeking candidates for the C.R.E.A.T.E. Hope Clinician/ Advocate in our Lake Waccamaw, NC office. We are looking for individuals who are dedicated and passionate about providing treatment and support to at-risk children and families.

Brief Program SummaryThe C.R.E.A.T.E. Hope Program provides treatment and advocacy services to child crime victims (ages 4-18 years old) and their non-offending caregivers in rural Southeastern North Carolina. Child victim(s) and non-offending caregiver(s) enrolled in the C.R.E.A.T.E. Hope Program receive evidence based trauma-informed mental health services through individual, group, and family therapy. Advocacy services include: crisis intervention and response, support, advocacy, education, linkage/referral to community supports, and wraparound case management services focused on meeting needs of client and strengthening the family. CHP uses a multidisciplinary approach to promote collaboration between all systems and professionals to guide treatment planning and care coordination.

CLINICIAN/ADVOCATE GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to provide assessment, treatment, advocacy, and wraparound support for clients in C.R.E.A.T.E. Hope Program. Develop and implement treatment based on specific needs of client and non-offending caregiver using evidence-based treatment modalities.

Must provide crisis intervention for client’s and families on caseload. Must complete home visits with client and caregiver, attend relevant meetings and appointments for clients, and be willing to provide transportation and assistance accessing resources for clients and non-offending caregivers.

Ability to work and make decisions independently. Strong interpersonal communication skills. Advance technical writing skills required. Completion of all required documentation using electronic health records system according to required timelines.

Able to work a flexible schedule. Extended work hours are necessary on occasion due to crisis intervention, immediate needs of child or caregiver, and implementation of group therapy in evenings (on a rotating basis). Must provide 24 hours accessibility by phone, including weekends and holidays, when assigned on-call coverage for CHP.

Experience: Mental health experience working with children for at least one year. Training and experience working with child victims of trauma (preferred).

Education: Master's degree in mental health counseling, social work, psychology or a related field from an accredited university.

License Requirements: Fully Licensed or Provisionally Licensed clinician in State of North Carolina as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or LPA.

Job Opening: Network/Systems Administrator

Education: Minimum - Equivalent to completion of two (2) years of college-level coursework in computer science, information technology or a related field and three (3) years experience working with Computer/Network Technology, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job as listed below.

Job Requirements: Experience and in-depth knowledge of Microsoft server operating systems. Experience and in-depth knowledge of MS Active Directory. Knowledge and experience working with Firewalls. Knowledge and experience working with IT infrastructure and server technology. Knowledge and experience working with switches, routers, access points and other network devices. Must have excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills. Must have in-depth understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, MCSE/MCSA/MCP, A+, and/or Network+ or demonstrated equivalent work experience.

Job Summary: Responsible for providing professional technical onsite management and support of IT. Includes network administration, security and monitoring. Client IT support and hardware maintenance.

Job Duties: Provide helpdesk services for IT and telephone systems. Manage and coordinate IT and networking projects. Administration of Servers, Switches, Firewalls, Wireless, and VOIP. Develop and maintain corporate IT documentation and processes. Ability to identify and resolve IT problems quickly and efficiently.

Job Opening: Residential Advisor

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university required.

Must have a complete physical with TB by a doctor prior to reporting to work. Physical health must meet all standards as established by the Department of Human Resources and other local agencies governing childcare. Medical examination shall include tests necessary to determine that the individual does not have any communicable disease or condition that poses significant risk or transmission in the facility. Valid North Carolina drivers license and insurable by B&GH carrier.

Job Opening: Teen Mom Co-Parent

Boys and Girls Homes of North Carolina, Inc., is accepting applications for the position of Teen Mom Co-Parent for our B&GH L.A.K.E. House - a Teen Mom & Baby Home. This position requires a high school diploma. This is an exciting team LIVE_IN position for individuals with a desire to work with teenagers. You are educating and providing role models for young women and their babies.

This position requires an employee to be responsible for three (3) teen moms and their babies. Responsibilities will include: coordinating doctor visits, transporting to school, jobs, daycare, guidance with shopping, meal preparation, light housekeeping, teaching life skills, as well as other similar duties. A rent-free apartment is included with this position.
