Thomas Academy, a charter school located on the campus of Boys & Girls Homes of North Carolina in Lake Waccamaw, is searching for Middle School Teachers in the fields of Social Studies/Science, Math, ELA AND for High School Teachers in the fields of Science and Math. Job Opening: Foster Care Consultant

Boys & Girls Homes of North Carolina, Inc., is accepting applications for the position of Foster Care Consultant working in the Greenville area. This position requires a BSW. 3 years experience working with emotionally and behaviorally distrubed youths and their families. Experience in working with foster parents. MAPP certification; working with the State of NC. Must be able to demonstrate all the technical and program skills required of a foster parent. Advanced technical writing skills, treatment planning and behavior analysis skills required. Will be teaching MAPP-GPS throughout the year. Good driving record. Extended work hours are necessary on occasion. Must provide 24 hour accessibility, including weekends and holidays during assigned times (pager provided). On-call responsibilities may include being on-call to assigned foster parents, other program consultants and/or colleagues during their time off. Exempt salaried position. Job Opening: Teen Mom Co-Parent

Boys & Girls Homes of North Carolina, Inc., is accepting applications for the position of Teen Mom Co-Parent for our B&GH Lake House - a Teen Mom & Baby Home. This position requires a high school diploma. This is an exciting team LIVE-IN position for individuals with a desire to work with teenagers. You are educating and providing role models for young women and their babies.

This position requires an employee to be responsible for three (3) teen moms and their babies. Responsibilities will include: coordinating doctor visits, transporting to school, jobs, daycare, guidance with shopping, meal preparation, light housekeeping, teaching life skills, as well as other similar duties. There will be flexible time off between the hours of 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. providing no appointments or travel are needed. You will have two weekends off each month. A rent-free apartment is included with this position.

Job Opening: SAC Residential Counselor

Our organization is committed to addressing the needs of children and youth who have been traumatized by an array of situations. BS from an accredited college preferred. Minimum - high school diploma. Group residential childcare experience preferred. Responsible for the implementation of a residential treatment program for 8-9 troubled youths referred by juvenile courts, psychiatric hospitals, social workers and private parent placements. This is a live in position. Job description available upon request. We cannot accommodate living quarters for employee's dependent children. We do not allow pets.
