Job Opening: Case Manager

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university. Degree in Education or Human Services. Training and experience in supervision and managing employees. Successful work experience with trouble children and families preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic computer skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community of professionals. Knowledge of the child welfare field preferred. Must have time-management and organizational skills. Demonstrate skills in problem-solving.

Must have a complete physical by a doctor prior to reporting to work. Physical health must meet all standards as established by the Department of Human Resources or other local agencies governing childcare. Medical examination shall include tests necessary to determine that the individual does not have any communicable disease or condition that poses significant risk of transmission in the facility. Job Opening: CAC Mental Health Clinician

QUALIFICATIONS:  Education: Must have a Masters Degree in a Mental Health field of study through an accredited program. Must have obtained Licensure as a LCSW, LPC or have provisional license. Must be either Trauma Informed or willing to attend training for TF-CBT. A minimum of 2 years of mental health experience working with children, or related experience with social work. Experience working with victims of trauma.

POSITION DESCRIPION: Crisis assessment and intervention, risk assessment, and safety planning and support for children and family members at all stages of involvement with CK-CAC. Ability to work and make decisions independently. Strong interpersonal communication skills. Advance technical writing skills required. Completion of all required documentation using electronic health records system according to required timelines. Will assist the CK-CAC child and family advocate in assessing the mental health needs of both caregivers and clients during the investigative process including the forensic interview and medical evaluation. Job Opening: Director of Family Reunification

QUALIFICATIONS: Education: A graduate of a college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in a human service field. Experience: Three (3) years of full-time post-graduate degree working with families that have been involved with the Child Welfare System. Experience supervising employees that work in welfare field.

SERVICE RESPONSIBILITIES: Recruit families for the Reunification program. Educate community and agency partners in counties served about the service. Work in conjunction with the family to complete a comprehensive assessment and develop goal plans addressing the placement stability, caregiver self-efficacy and child/family well being. Engage the family and provide in home services, crisis intervention, case management, and skill building around problem solving, self advocacy, conflict resolution, and relapse planning. Job Opening: Lake House Teen Mom Co-Parent

QUALIFICATIONS: Boys & Girls Homes of North Carolina, Inc., is accepting applications for the position of the TEEN MOM CO-PARENTS for our Lake House - a Teen Mom & Baby Home. This position requires a high school diploma, but preference is for a BSW. Ability to handle teenagers with behavioral issues.

7 ON, 7 OFF SCHEDULE

This position will be responsible for 24 hour care for 3 teen moms and their babies. You will live in the house as a "foster parent", coordinating doctor visits, transporting to school, jobs, daycare, guidance with shopping and preparing meals as well as many other similar duties. You are educating and providing role models for the teen moms. This position is located on the Lake Waccamaw campus.
