Pastoral Care

One way B&GH addresses the needs of the children we serve is through our spiritual program as directed by our mission statement.

Under the guidance of Pastor John Cobb, children and adolescents flourish not only spiritually, but in every aspect of their lives. Pastor John conducts spiritual assessments so that each child’s needs can be met on an individual basis as well as in our community worship setting. He is available around the clock to address spiritual needs as they arise.

Our worship services are non-denominational and are open to the community. We endeavor to provide a well-rounded and diverse approach to the truths found in scripture. Please join us Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. for worship.

Sunday evenings, Pastor John instructs youth during our teaching service. He further offers ministry opportunities for the children in a relaxed, informal setting during the mid-week service Wednesday evenings. These services often include games and Bible study.

Each summer, a one-week-long spiritual growth opportunity is held on campus for children and adolescents. These “spiritual camps” are focused on a theme derived from scripture and include a time of games, team building, worship, study and meditation with the purpose of leading youth to a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.

Pastor John also addresses the spiritual needs of staff through prayer, worship, spiritual growth opportunities and emergency pastoral care.

B&GHs Leamon Rogers Memorial Chapel is a popular venue for local and regional weddings.
