As we enter the end of semester testing cycle, emotions are running high. It is critical to our students’ success for the teachers and staff to pay attention to how they are feeling.

So many of our students have felt negatively about themselves in past school settings. They struggled in a system that did not provide the additional educational support they needed to learn successfully. It created a cycle of negative emotions related to education.

At Thomas Academy, we work hard every day to make sure that our students have the opportunity to feel good about their academic progress. That doesn’t mean they can do what they want. We have strict expectations for behavior and learning, but we provide compassion through personal support systems that bring the student back to educational focus as quickly as possible to find a positive experience every day.

We know our students are capable of greatness in their field of excellence. Our goal is to make sure they feel that confidence and encouragement surrounding them as they take their tests. We want our students to never forget the positive feelings of a Thomas Academy education.
