Treasured memory

Often times, I am privileged to give campus tours to our supporters. During a recent tour with members of one of our many civic club supporters, we stopped for a few moments to visit with a long-time counselor and staff member. One of the visitors asked a simple question:

“What moment has been your most treasured memory in your years at Boys and Girls Homes?”

A family of fourThe counselor did not hesitate. He quickly explained that his greatest joy has been to meet the children of former B&GH students that he had counseled. Seeing them and the family unit they had built meant the cycle of abuse had indeed been broken.

The work at Boys and Girls Homes will echo for generations to come. Thank you for joining us in this precious mission.
