Bright Hope Residential Counselor

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university is preferred. Minimum - high school diploma. Successful work experience with troubled children and families preferred. Technical writing skills required. Must have a complete physical by a doctor prior to reporting to work in a cottage. Physical health must meet all standards as established by the Department of Human Resources or other local agencies governing childcare. Valid North Carolina drivers license and insurable by B&GH carrier.

WORKING SCHEDULE: Salaried, full-time professional scheduled to meet the needs of the position and B&GH. Work schedule involves 24-hour intervals including nights, weekends and holidays. Must be able to successfully complete a pre-service training workshop and physical restraint training.
