Foster Care Licensing Worker

PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
 

Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university required. Certified MAPP-TIPS trainer. Must be familiar with current clinical research and practice.

Experience: Must have at least three (3) years experience working with emotionally and behaviorally disturbed youths and their families. Some prior experience with promotional work preferred.

Valid driver's license and proof of insurance. Required to consent to a driver's record check through the North Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles prior to employment. Consent to an annual driver's record check through the North Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles.

WORKING SCHEDULE: Exempt, full-time salaried position.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

Position requires extensive day and overnight travel to provide promotional programs to potential Foster Parent groups.

While regular work schedule is during business week, position may require some evenings, weekends and holidays. Will provide on call coverage as scheduled - pager will be provided.

Successful prior implementation of a Teaching Family Model based program.

Knowledge of the state's policy regarding Foster Parent training and requirements for licensure.

Advanced technical writing skills required.

Advanced treatment planning and behavior analysis skills required.
