Ensures the safe therapeutic environment required to help change the lives of at-risk youth and offers nurturing and supportive caregiver relationships to youth, appropriate role modeling, and consistent and adequate structure enhancing a youth's ability to make responsible and safe choices.


High School Diploma or GED and 21 years of age or older and have two (2) years of residential treatment facility experience.

A combination of education and experience may be substituted to meet the minimum requirements unless to do so would be inconsistent with the requirements of the organizations that license, regulate or accredit the Agency. Valid driver's license in the state of residence.

Must like children. Must demonstrate strong qualities of maturity, patience, good communication, self-awareness, and problem-solving skills. Must be comfortable working in a structured environment with established treatment models. Must have knowledge of computer and other office equipment. Must successfully complete agency required training.

WORKING CONDITIONS: Much of the work is performed in a residential setting for at-risk youth. Work is subject to frequent interruptions. Work can be stressful.
