In 1966, 16 boys moved into the brand new Rotary cottage, which was generously funded by Rotarians across the state. With the capacity now at 9, the residents are able to build closer, family-like relationships with staff.

Each year, hundreds of Rotarians visit campus on "Rotary Day" - traditionally held on the Sunday following Super Bowl Sunday. They attend a morning worship service with all B&GH residents, followed by lunch in the Fellowship and dessert in the Rotary Cottage.

“Every time you give, lives are changed. The commitment made by Rotarians to Boys & Girls Homes brings this statement to light and has for 50 years. There is no count of how many young lives were touched in a positive way by Rotarians.” – Vanessa Ervin, District 7730 Governor 2014-15
