B&GH Country Store extending hours

March 31, 2021

The Boys and Girls Homes Country Store is extending sales hours beginning on April 7.

The retail outlet that sells gently-used items to support the program of care at B&GH will be open for sales Wednesday – Friday 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. Donations of items will continue to be accepted during business hours on Fridays.

“We have been following the recommendations throughout the pandemic to keep our shoppers and staff safe,” said Country Store Supervisor Pam Lee. “We are grateful that we are now at a point where we can safely expand our hours to allow our customers more opportunities to find their next treasure.”

The store will continue to enforce pandemic related guidelines, including masks being required while shopping. Sanitizing stations are available.

“We are excited that we can finally expand the hours for the store as all proceeds go directly to our program of care for the children,” said Chief Mission Officer Ray Cockrell. “It has truly been a blessing for our children over the years and we look forward to being even more accessible to our friends and customers.”

The Country Store is located at 201 Top Tobacco Road in Lake Waccamaw.
