As the world begins to slowly reopen to create a new normal, the coronavirus continues hurting vulnerable children.

I hope that you and your family have remained safe and healthy through this disruption. This cannot be said for the increased numbers of children who are being abused and neglected.

When there are higher levels of stress in the family, it is always the children who suffer most.

Children like Carol, who expressed concern to a teacher as the world was shutting down that she wouldn't have anything to eat. Carol also said she was scared that she could not escape repeated punishments from her father if they were home together all day.

Department of Social Services workers continued the investigation even as the virus created more restrictions and took Carol from the home. Carol came to Boys and Girls Homes to receive the food, clothing, shelter and care that provide safety and security.

Significant funds are needed to help provide ongoing services in these uncertain times. Coronavirus is putting a strain on resources, creating significant shortfalls complicated by increasing needs.

My Gift of Safety

Our key fundraising events have been postponed or cancelled. This means less support to keep our children safe and protected in these uncertain times.

Knowing that our children are supported by friends like you, I'm asking you to provide children like Carol with the care and safety they need.

Your gift today will provide instant care and safety.

As you take care of yourself in this challenging time, please help provide care for these most vulnerable children!

For the love of kids,
